The Bakers Arena – Cook A Dream Challenge, 2021

“The Bakers Arena – Cook A Dream Challenge, 2021” – unique online baking competition presented by Chefs Arena, Haldiram’s, Associate sponsors Richs and Amity University, Outreach Partners Indian Culinary Forum, Western Chefs Association (WICA), Hospitality Purchasing Managers Forum (HPMF) and Salaam Mumbai Foundation was held between 14th to 24th July, 2021. 4 candidates from Culinary Academy of India (Brand CAI) participated in Category-2 which was an open category. Round – 1 was a baking task where each participant had to prepare a 1/2kg cake with icing and Bread (Indian or International) of candidate’s choice along with their recipe sheets, appropriate pictures and videos. Participants represented Brand CAI prepared some unique products as per the rule book.

Neha Chokoti & Rahul Prasad, the final year students were amongst the 20 participants who got shortlisted for the final round. Neha made it to the top 10 and Rahul Prasad who prepared the entremet “ D’ebellar” was adjudged as the Winner of The Bakers Arena – Cook A Dream Challenge, 2021.

The winner gets a grand Cash Prize of INR 10,000/-, Gift Hamper and the 21 Day Specially designed Bakery Course with certification, from Amity University, Jaipur and e-certificates. The panel of jury Chef Vivek Saggar (General Secretary, Indian Culinary Forum), Chef Vivek Chauhan (Executive Pastry chef, Le Meridien, Delhi), Chef Sanjeeb Ghatak (AGM, Culinary Devyani Intl.), Abhiru Biswas (Chef and Entrepreneur), and Amol Salve (Corporate chef, Haldiram’s) were thoroughly impressed with products made in both the rounds, their presentation and the elements of uniqueness and techniques that were used. Once again Brand CAI strongly marked its presence at national level through social platform.
