On 2nd December 2022, Pioneer college of hotel management has organized a competition in the memory of Chef Ramesh Chandra naming "CHEF RAMESH CHANDRA CULINARY TROPHY". The theme of the competition was to promote Freaky Street Food of India. Mainak Roy and Shefali Dhumal students of Final year BCT & CA had won Gold. They have made very famous street food of Bengal known as "Jhalmuri".
