BCT&CA-2nd YEAR (BATCH A) EXTERNAL EXAM THEME SET UP- GOAN-PARSI THEME SET UP

2017.

Today’s chefs are not just merely behind the closed doors but are expected to be in front of the house interacting with guests and managing buffets. As part of grooming students for the industry the third semester examination requires the students to work in a team and conduct a food festival on a given theme. For the final examination the class of second years was asked to create a Parsi theme. And lo! The present generation has such vivid ideas and they simply think out of the box. The four walls of the restaurant given to them had a Persian style architectural construction made out of Styrofoam which was embedded with the Symbolic Persian God. The carpets were typically rich Persian style and the pillars designed with the fire. Guests were welcomed in typical Parsi style and the students dressed like a bawa. The menu had varieties like Patrani Macchi, Dhansak, Khaman Nu Larva, etc . There was a lot of attention to detail seen in the ambience created.
