TELANGANA FORMATION DAY CELEBRATIONS AT CAI-2015

Telangana is celebrating its first anniversary today, 2nd June 2015 with colourful festivities in Hyderabad and nine other districts of this newly formed 29th state of India. Telangana came into existence as 29th state in the country on this day last year after it was carved out of Andhra Pradesh.The week-long festivities began midnight with fireworks at 12 selected places in Hyderabad, which was illuminated to mark the occasion The 10 districts of the newly-formed state have geared up for celebrating 'Telangana Formation Day' that will witness a host of events as part of week-long celebrations on Telangana's culture and struggle (for statehood) on a grand scale.In remembrance of the struggle and sacrifice made during the formation of the state, the government is holding events covering all fields, from literature to music across all districts throughout the week. BRAND CAI has also decided to celebrate this occasion annually and today the whole college was decked up to depict the TELANGANA CULTURE AND CUISINE.Students also prepared an authentic Telangana Menu for the dining hall wearing a specially made Chef Caps outlining the Telanagana State.
